How do we collect your data?

On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to us, for example when booking an appointment, by email or by phone. Other data is collected automatically by our server when you visit the website (for example browser, operating system, time of the page request, IP address).

What rights do you have?

You have the right at any time to access the data stored about you, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, to object to the processing, and to withdraw any consent you have given with effect for the future. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

2. Hosting

This website is run on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The server is located in a data centre in Helsinki, Finland, i.e. within the European Union. When the website is accessed, the server processes the server log data listed below. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably).

3. Data collection on this website

Server log files

The server automatically stores: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, time of the request and IP address. This data serves technical security purposes, is not combined with other data sources and is deleted after a short time.

No cookies, no analytics tools

This website does not set any cookies and does not use any analytics or advertising tools. Fonts are loaded from our own server; no connection to Google is made in the process.

Storage in your browser

In the shop, your selection (quantity, term, add-on services) is saved in your browser's storage (local storage) so that it is still there on your next visit. This data does not leave your device. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.

Contact by email, phone or WhatsApp

If you contact us, your details are stored in order to process your enquiry. For communication via WhatsApp we use WhatsApp Business (WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland), where applicable via the Superchat service. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Expert check and appointment booking (Calendly)

In the expert check, you answer six questions about your work. The answers initially remain in your browser. Only when you book an appointment are they transmitted, together with your details, to the appointment booking service Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA), or to us by email if you choose the email option. The transfer to the USA takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Payment (Stripe)

Orders in the shop are paid via Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Dublin, Ireland). You enter your payment details directly with Stripe; they are not stored on our server. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Customer management (CRM)

To manage prospects and customers, we use the CRM Close (Close.com, Inc., USA). Contact details and conversation histories are processed in the course of this. The transfer to the USA takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

Partner area (Vertriebscockpit, our sales cockpit)

Customers log in to the sales cockpit at cockpit.marketing-athlet.de. Login credentials and the data belonging to the contract are processed there. The cockpit runs on the same server. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

4. Audio and video conferences

For calls we use tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. Personal data may be processed in the process (for example name, email, IP address). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

5. Storage period

Personal data is only stored for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or as statutory retention periods require.

6. SSL/TLS encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption to protect the transmission of confidential content.

7. Objection to advertising emails

We hereby object to the use of the contact details published in our legal notice (Impressum) for sending advertising that has not been expressly requested.
